Amber Hendrix, Amber Hendrix, M.Ed, ALC, NCC
Amber Hendrix is an Associate Licensed Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor under the supervision of Waynette Smith Ed.S., LPC-S, NCC. Amber is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families through life’s challenges and transitions. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Education from the University of South Alabama and her Master’s degree in Couples and Family Counseling from the University of Montevallo.
Amber has experience working with clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, adjustment concerns, medical trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and family-related issues. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. She utilizes Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches to help clients develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, build resilience, and achieve meaningful growth.
