About the Event
1. Identify early life span experiences and incidents that may have long term impact on the mental health of children and adolescents as well as the definition of anxiety.
2. Define cumulative trauma and the chronic grief. This will also describe the impact of persistent grieving and unaddressed trauma on the psychosocial experiences of children as well as the way they interpret and navigate social interactions.
3.Focus on the myth of assumed resiliency amongst children and the critical importance of intentionally teaching/facilitating resilience literacy to enhance coping skills amongst children and adolescents.
